Parent’s Choice: The Parent Choice deductible can be applied to vehicles that the teen(s) on the policy do not drive regularly, or any private passenger vehicle on the policy. teenSMART: The teenSMART online course helps to educate teens on safe driving behaviors. A discount will be provided to drivers under the age of 20 upon policy issuance, however the discount will be removed if the driver does not register for the course within 30 days or the course has not been completed within 60 days. If this program is selected, the insured will receive an email from Adept Driver to enroll in the program. The program can take up to 7 hours to complete in its entirety, but can be taken in modules in an on-demand format.

Progressive Snapshot: In some states, at new business, customers may save up to 10% on the first term by participating in Snapshot.

At renewal, most customers save money with Snapshot. While there’s a chance (in some states) it can cause a rate increase when the customer renews their policy, it is a great opportunity for the customer to utilize a voluntary program that gives them control over their insurance premiums by using driving information to provide a personalized rate. If the customer drives less than 2 hours per day, avoids aggressive acceleration, hard braking, and handheld usage of their phone while driving, Snapshot will probably save them money.
